We’re introducing GPT‑6 Astra, the world’s most intelligent and aligned model. GPT‑6 Astra brings together years of research and big bets across pre-training, reinforcement learning, and alignment. Astra is state-of-the-art on computer use, browsing, software engineering, cybersecurity, science, and professional work. Astra saturates FrontierMath Tier 4 with a 98% score, having already helped sole long-standing open problems in mathematics. Astra also saturates ARC-AGI-3 with a 99.9% score and ExploitBench with a 100% score. It sets a new frontier on computer and browser use, handling the most demanding professional work with unmatched speed, accuracy, and judgment. Astra is our most aligned model, with substantial improvements in understanding user intent and model behavior—you can delegate tasks with greater confidence in Astra’s judgment. As one way that we test this, we built a new evaluation informed by the Hugging Face incident that evaluates whether a model facing a difficult or impossible task will go beyond its intended scope. Compared to GPT‑5.6 Sol, which without production safeguards went beyond the authorized target 48% of the time, GPT‑6 Astra did this in 0% of cases. GPT‑6 Astra is rolling out today to a limited set of organizations and over the coming days will become available to all ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users, as well as through the OpenAI API and AWS. What's an outlier?
A video that did far better than its creator usually does.
Most creators get roughly the same response every time they post. Their average is their baseline. When one video shoots way past that baseline, it wasn't their follower count that did it. Something in the video itself did: the hook, the topic, the format.
That video is an outlier, and it's the one worth learning from.
The outlier score
Likes on this video÷Creator's average likes per video
- 1x
- A normal post for them
- 1.9x+
- An outlier. Marked green
- 10x+
- A breakout. Study it closely
Why not just sort by views?
Big view counts mostly tell you who has a big audience.
Sort any niche by views and the top is full of large accounts having an ordinary day. You can't borrow their audience, so there's little to learn. The outlier score compares each creator only with themselves, so a small account's breakthrough ranks above a big account's routine post.
Large account
3.1M followers
A normal day for them. Their audience would have watched anything.
Small account
6,800 followers
Reached people who had never heard of them. The idea did the work.
Sorted by views, the large account comes first. Sorted by outlier score, the small one does.
Illustrative figures.
Why remaking outliers works
Every outlier is an idea that's already been tested on real viewers.
Most creators guess what to post next. Outliers take the guessing out: you start from something the audience in your niche has already shown they want more of.
- 01
Real viewers have already voted
TikTok shows every new video to a small test audience first, and only pushes it further when those people watch to the end, like, comment and share. An outlier passed that test again and again. It's an idea with proof behind it, not a guess.
- 02
The idea carried it, not the account
When a creator gets many times their normal response, their followers can't explain it. The video reached strangers on its own merit. That's exactly the kind of idea that can do the same for you, whatever your follower count.
- 03
Winning formats keep winning
Hooks, structures and angles that work in a niche tend to keep working for other creators. It's why the same formats spread across TikTok. Starting from one that has already landed is the most reliable way to stop posting into the void.
How to use it
Copy the idea, not the video.
Re-uploading someone else's clip won't get you anywhere, and it isn't yours to post. What you're after is the reason it worked, rebuilt in your own style.
Step 1
Search your niche
Type a keyword your audience cares about. We pull the top TikToks for it, hundreds at a time, and score every one against its own creator.
Step 2
Study the green ones
Sort by outlier score and open the top results. Look at the first two seconds, the structure, the angle on the topic and the length.
Step 3
Make your version
Keep what made it work, and bring your own face, voice and take. Save the ones you want to come back to, or export the list to CSV.
What to take from an outlier
- The hook
- The opening line or shot that stopped the scroll.
- The format
- Talking head, skit, tutorial, before-and-after, list.
- The angle
- The specific take on the topic, not just the topic.
- The length
- How long it runs, and how fast it moves.
What exactly is the outlier score?
The likes a video got, divided by the average likes that creator gets per video. A score of 1x is a normal post for them. At 1.9x and above we mark it green as an outlier. The higher it goes, the further the video beat its creator's usual.
Why likes and not views?
TikTok reports each creator's total likes and total videos, which gives a reliable average per video. Likes also show that people actually responded, not just scrolled past. Views, shares and saves are all still shown on every result so you can sort by them too.
Will remaking an outlier make my video go viral?
Nobody can promise a single video will take off, and anyone who does is selling something. What outliers give you is a starting point that has already worked on real viewers in your niche, which is a far better bet than an idea nobody has tested.
Is it allowed to copy another creator's video?
Don't re-upload their clip; that's their work. Taking a format, a hook style or an angle and making your own version is how trends spread on TikTok, and it's what this tool is for.
Where do the results come from?
Each search pulls public TikTok videos for your keyword, with their current views, likes, shares and saves. We aren't affiliated with TikTok.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $9 a month and differ only in how many videos your searches can return. Opening a search that anyone already ran today is free. See plans.
